Wednesday Evening Bible Study
As part of Family Night on Wednesday nights, a Bible Study occurs at 6:00pm during the school year. Meeting in Fellowship Hall, the study is led by Rev. Chaplin and promotes thoughtful discussion through a variety of presentation methods.

Pastor Wayne is leading a class based upon John Ortberg’s book, When the Game is Over, It All Goes Back in the Box. Using popular games as a metaphor for our temporal lives, this six-session DVD curriculum neatly sorts out what’s fleeting and what’s permanent in God’s kingdom. Being Master of the Board is not the point; being rich toward God is. Winning the game of life on Earth is a temporary victory; loving God and other people with all our hearts is an eternal one. Pastor Wayne led a class based on The Jesus I Never Knew by best-selling author Phillip Yancey. As the author says, ‘The Jesus I got to know in writing this book is very different from the Jesus I learned about in Sunday school. In some ways he is more comforting; in some ways more terrifying.‘ The study offered a new and different perspective on the life of Christ and Jesus’ work — his teaching, his miracles, his death and resurrection — and ultimately, who he was and why he came.
